Avatar didn't work in Drupal commons

I have install avatar crop module in drupal commons. But it seems that it didn' work.After I have uploaded a new user photo in my profile.It jumped to the page which ask me to crop the uploading picture.But when I move my mouse over the picture, I can't see my mouse change to cross flag. And I can't choose any area. But I have try to install avatar in Drupal 6.22. All is ok.So any one can tell me how to use Avatar crop in Drupal commons?
