cannot upload any images at all

Hello dear buddies many many thanks for the hint and the work! on drupal commons.!

I have big big issues here cannot uplaod any images

i am workin on a drupal commons 6x 24  What do you say!?

Directory permissions must be writable

Make sure the /sites/default/files directory and its children directories are writable.
