Can't hide views to anonymous users

Hi,
I'm trying to hide some views for anonymous users using the restriction property of views but the anonymous users still can access these views. I have also revoked "access all views" permission for anonymous users. This used to work in previous versions of commons and the Views module for D6 has not been updated afaik. We have imported a view from a previous version of Commons from the production site (Commons 1.3) and the imported view works correctly. Has anybody experienced a similar problem?

Just happening with the groups_main_listing view
Just an addition to the main post, the depicted behaviour only happens with the groups_main_listing_view, other views like content_blog_page, content_discussion_page, etc. work well. The production version (commons 1.3) is using the og_all view and works fine, this view also works fine if I import it to commons 2.0.
