Poll on Wiki VS Documents... Not mutually exclusive

The Poll Confounds  the  delevery vehical and  content  when   suggesting that  Wiki's vs Documentation  is  source of confusion.

Wiki's are a delevery  stream  while documentation is content in the stream.  As to Wiki's contribution to confusion of documentation is  more a statement as to the process and not the content.  Wiki's are are more likely  to generate confusion as they usually lack documentation processes or controll... akin to  creating a giant white  board  for  teams to  throw up  dynamic verbage.  Content and document control  as well as wiki process control of  distributed "Documentation" are needed to  contain confusion , duplication, and or inaccurate content.

Good to get community feedback on benefit, standard methods

Good reply... it is interesting the polling is small but even. It is more to get community feedback on the benefits of potentially tighening the standard posting methods and are too many options  confusing.  They are all good options but is focus better ? Notices and Events are both valid and important but clearly there is overlap as well.  There are currently no notices posted.....
